A Blog in Time....

.....saves me from much heartache.

I have been very reflective of late for various reasons. This seems to be an important time of change for me in many ways, some unavoidable, some initiated by me through necessity. But through all the heart-rending, one truth occurred to me out of the blue. This blog has been such a lifesaver. You see, thinking of an amusing/interesting/stupid story to tell you lot forces me to look on the bright side. And it helps, it really does. Because nothing's THAT bad.

blogging is the best thing ever. i have had the aspersions cast at times that i have nothing better to do with my life, or that i clack away at the keys thinking im queen of my own microcosm or indeed in need of a therapist - but FUCK YOU to all of them - because BLOGGING IS SO MUCH FUN! i will only give up if i resort to buying clothes from primark and h&m and modelling them like i've worked a banging outfit when really i look like a cheap tramp with no class. a cheap tramp is not a look to be admonished in better clothes than primark BTW.

a moments thought: primark dress bloggers look more like mumsy twats playing cutie than cheap tramps. i know there is a cheap tramp in all the maison b blog readers!

[i deleted my own post above cause i needed to correct some spelling...]

AMEN!!! No-one's going to cast nasturtions on US baby!!!!!! I think blogging IS my therapist btw!

I agree re "cheap tramps"....one only has to look at Dolly Parton to see how genius the look can be and I'm not averse to a slutty take on an outfit....in fact often guilty of it!!

Oh Madame, thank you. That post brought tears to my eyes and a sense of not being alone. It feels like things are in state of flux in my life too but you just made me appreciate the opportunities and not worry about the churning... and I felt less 'on my own'. Thank you. What an inspiration you are! All the way from your end of the world to mine (melbourne, oz).

Now you've bought a tear to my eyes, cottonsocks!!!!! Blogging is such a solitary occupation, it's so great when you touch someone, especially so far away!!! Stay in touch....hope the flux settles soon.....xxx
